Law Enforcement and Fire

In the Law, Public Safety, Corrections, and Security cluster, students choose between two pathways – Law Enforcement Services or Emergency and Fire Management Services. Students pursuing these pathways should possess adequate knowledge and skills in the areas of mathematics, science, communication, and technology. 

Credentials

  • Public Safety Telecommunicator

  • National Emergency Medical Technician

 

Dual-Enrollment

  • Emergency Medical Services

    • Students can earn a certificate in Emergency Medical Technician-Basic in one semester

    • Classes in this program are free to students at EBCTC

    • Students must be in at least the 10th grade and have a 2.5 GPA  and an ACT score of English 17/Math 17 to qualify for the program

 

Alabama Fire College

Students enrolled in EBCTC's Fire Program have the opportunity to complete Firefighter I and Firefighter II through the Alabama Fire College.
